The Scottish Open is going to be a feast for South African fans as a bumper contingent is ready to take on the world’s best.
The co-sanctioned event has produced some excellent winners in recent times with Chris Gotterup this year’s defending champion. He is fresh off his third PGA TOUR win of the year.
As the final tune up ahead of the Open at Royal Birkdale, it also provides an opportunity for a place at the Major for those not yet exempt.
Scottie Scheffler remains the man to beat.

Former Genesis Scottish Open champion Xander Schauffele, his fellow major winner Justin Thomas, and European Ryder Cup star Viktor Hovland are also in the field.
Aldrich Potgieter is SA’s number one ranked player while the likes of Michael Hollick, Yurav Premlall and Richard Sterne have all won this season.
