Southern Guards GC are in Korea looking to continue their consistent run of performances after Dean Burmester secured a top-five finish at the league’s previous stop in Virginia.
Last season in Korea, the all-South African team finished tied fifth, while captain Louis Oosthuizen ended the week in 12th position individually.
Ahead of the opening round, Oosthuizen said the team were refreshed and ready for another potentially aggressive, low-scoring week.
“My body feels good. I had a good two-week break and I’m ready to go for this one and next week,” said Oosthuizen.
“I just played 10 holes today. It looks again like it’s going to be low scoring. Guys are going to be aggressive off the tee.”
With momentum continuing to build throughout the season, Southern Guards GC will once again look for consistent performances as they chase another strong result on the global LIV Golf stage.
