Southern Guards boosted by Provantage deal

Southern Guards GC is proud to announce a new partnership with Provantage, one of South Africa’s leading out-of-home and media groups, in a collaboration designed to bring the all-South African LIV Golf team even closer to fans across the country.

The partnership will see Southern Guards GC featured across Provantage’s extensive airport, golf and digital out-of-home network, while also creating new opportunities to tell the stories behind the team both on and off the golf course.

More than a media partnership, the collaboration is built around a shared belief in the power of South African sport to inspire and connect communities. Through original content, fan engagement initiatives and exclusive behind-the-scenes access, supporters will have more opportunities than ever to follow the team’s journey throughout the LIV Golf season.

Southern Guards GC captain Louis Oosthuizen believes the partnership is another important step in growing the team’s connection with supporters.

“One of the things we’re most proud of is the support we’ve received from South Africans,” said Oosthuizen.

“No matter where we play in the world, we always feel that backing from home. This partnership with Provantage gives us another opportunity to bring fans closer to the team and share more of our journey. Hopefully it inspires even more South Africans to follow along and feel part of what we’re building together.”

Provantage CFO Johan Scholtz says: “Golf has always been one of the few sports where SA has consistently punched above our weight on the world stage and Southern Guards GC embodies that in every sense.

“Our network reaches consumers in the moments they’re most receptive – at airports, on the course, in their daily movements around the country – and this partnership lets us put that reach behind a team that’s genuinely giving fans something to be proud of. For us this is about helping tell a South African sporting story that deserves a bigger stage at home.”
