Rory McIlroy is unlikely to be fazed by the knowledge that The Summit Club, host of this week’s CJ CUP, is a Tom Fazio design.
In fact, he’s encountered two of them this year alone and had good vibes about both.
The first was Quail Hollow, one of his favourite tracks and a Fazio re-design. It witnessed McIlroy’s only victory of 2021.
