Sun Day Red’s Spring Traditions Collection Is a Love Letter to April

There’s a week every spring that changes the energy in golf. You feel it before it starts. Sun Day Red built a whole collection around that feeling.

Spring Traditions is a three-drop capsule timed for the most celebrated week in the sport. The palette tells you everything immediately: azalea pinks and Augusta greens, colors every golfer in the world recognizes without needing a caption.

The Legend Polo is the standout piece, and my personal favorite.

It carries a nod to Tiger Woods’ iconic 1991 outfit and the execution is clean enough that it works whether you know the reference or not. The color story runs consistently across the full lineup, from polos and knitwear to outerwear and accessories, without feeling forced or repetitive.

There’s also a cashmere crewneck, a new Anorak, and two limited-edition shoes: the Osprey and the Willow. The Osprey is on my short list of shoes that I’d actually wear to the Masters, since they’re so darn comfy.

The footwear picks up the floral accents and soft spring tones that run through the rest of the collection. Nothing feels like an afterthought.

But the thing that ties everything together? A host of accessories and bags produced in partnership with Vessel. All of them are slick, but my favorite is “The Legend”, the first-ever SDR x Vessel staff bag. She sure is pretty, ain’t she?

Sun Day Red has gotten good at this specific thing: making gear that actually carries the weight of the moment it’s designed for.
