After a round, guests can enjoy a “19th hole” Irish whiskey tasting in the award-winning Runway 28 Restaurant and Bar, led by mixologist Higor Franjotti and finished with an Irish-mythology-inspired cocktail.
Priced at €599 per room, the package includes an overnight stay in a Rooftop Suite, full Irish breakfast, specialist golf club storage and care, a gift of Carlton Titleist Pro V1 balls and accessories, and the whiskey tasting.
The hotel’s guest relations team also shares transit tips: use dedicated early check-in for clubs where possible, protect clubs with a rod protector or broom handle, wrap clubheads, pack towels around shafts, secure loose items, consider a bag tracker, and label your golf bag.
With 24-hour airport transfers, secure parking and a newly refurbished gym, it’s a practical base for golfers who want the trip to start before the first tee. For bookings and details, visit Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport online or on Instagram or Facebook.
