Tiger golf club and Japanese commerce & industry association together organized a golf
tournament at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka today.
Around 40 amateur investors, Tiger Golf Club members, and shoo koo kai golf members
participated in this friendly tournament.
Mr. Hikari Kawai emerged as champion and Mr. Myungho Lee was Runner-up in the
men’s category while Mrs. Watanabe Aoto became champion in the women category. Mrs. Songlim of the Korean Embassy achieved the longest drive in both the category of the friendly nine-hole golf tournament.
Joao Tabajara DE Oliveira Junior president of the tiger golf club and the Ambassador of
Brazil to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. ITO Naoki, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh, and Lee
Jang-Keun Ambassador of Korea to Bangladesh and Mr. Manzur Qader vice-president of
Tiger Golf Club was also present on the occasion. Investors from Bangladesh, Japan,
Korea, Mongolia, and Pakistan as well as corporate professionals of the country along
with other guests, were present too.
Tiger Golf Club association(TGCA) started its journey in 2011. Tiger golf club conducts
friendly tournaments regularly along with Dhaka Diplomatic Golf Association. On
average TGC organizes at least 4/5 tournaments & events in each quarter and they have
a program of organizing friendly tournaments with different countries. By this initiative
investors and ex-pats take home good memories of Bangladesh!
