The New Srixon Spring Collection–Just WOW!

OK, these Augusta/Masters collections are officially entering a new stratosphere.

A few weeks ago, I told you my favorites came from COBRA and Vessel. I think maybe, just maybe, Srixon might have leapfrogged both with its Limited-Edition Spring Collection.

The name may be uninspiring but, gloryosky, what in the name of Horton Smith or, for that matter, Hideki Matsuyama, has Srixon done?

Srixon Spring Collection

The Srixon Spring Collection sets a new and very high bar

Everything, from the unmistakable green-and-white color palette to the attention to detail and hidden design features, is befitting of the season’s first major. Srixon might get in trouble with the Lords of Magnolia Lane but we won’t: this collection is Masters-worthy.

The lineup features three golf bags: the staff bag ($549.99) Srixon-Cleveland staffers will be using at Augusta as well as a more practical and traditional stand bag ($399.99) and a sweet Masters-themed Jones Sunday bag ($199.99).

The inner pockets of each bag feature patron badge graphics that put a sweet little bow on each package.

There’s also a green-and-white Srixon cap ($34.99) and towel ($29.99) included in the collection. Maybe the coolest pieces in the collection are the Srixon headcovers (a relative bargain at $39.99) which will also be used by Srixon players at Augusta.

Is this the best Masters drop so far?

If it isn’t, it’s very, very close.

Srixon-Cleveland-XXIO doesn’t normally go overboard with limited-edition releases but this year has been an exception. We enjoyed (mostly) the Cleveland Retro Collection from a few weeks back and the Cleveland x SWAG High Roller RTZ wedges are borderline outrageous (in a good way).

This Spring Collection, however, is classic, clean and will have you singing “Georgia On My Mind” softly and to yourself all season long.

“Spring is when the energy around the game really starts to build,” says Srixon Product Management Analyst Felix Teodoro. “This collection taps into the momentum with a look that’s both fresh and rooted in the traditions of this major championship, while capturing the excitement of the season.”

In the words of that great naval officer Charles Ignatius Parker, “Gee, I love that kinda talk.”

Available starting today

You can call these limited-edition drops a cash grab if you want. You won’t get an argument from me. But they only work if the item itself is worthy of putting your cash up for grabs. Some of them work, some don’t. This collection, it says here, is worthy.

These Srixon Spring Collection items are available now on Srixon’s website.
