In October 2023, Mizuno gathered its leading US-based tour players to check over its new Mizuno Pro irons. The intention was to demonstrate how well the new Mizuno Pro 243 and 245 could perform in an elite player’s hands. We didn’t expect long-time muscle back player Luke Donald to switch as quickly as he did to a full set of the 245s.
The Mizuno Pro 245 irons have been one of Mizuno’s surprises of 2024 – improving on the Mizuno Pro 225, itself an award-winning iron. Gaining awards and accolades from the most respected testers in the industry – including Golf Digest, Golf WRX, MyGolfSpy, Golf Monthly and Ian Fraser.
