Earlier this year, I tested the best overall golf glove of 2026 and found that its durability was much lower than I expected.
Once that glove was toast, it was time to put on another one and it happened to be the IDAKA Moccasin Icon Glove.
IDAKA is relatively new to the game with the Moccasin Icon serving as the debut product in its catalog. When we first got our hands on it, we were impressed by the comfort, feel and overall construction with a slight dash of surprise that IDAKA was able to get it right the first time.
Let me tell you a little more about the Moccasin Icon Glove and how long it has lasted.

IDAKA impressed right off the bat with a comfortable golf glove that didn’t sacrifice feel or grip throughout the swing. The fit performed slightly below the best of the best but not poorly enough to garner a bad score overall. Testers also noted the attention to detail throughout the glove’s design, along with its three-for-$60 pricing structure.
The Moccasin Icon Glove took minimal time to break in and I noticed it becoming more “one with my skin” the more I played. That “second-skin” feeling is what we search for in a golf glove and I found it extremely quickly with the Moccasin Icon.
As time went on, I could hardly tell I was wearing a golf glove. That’s the Holy Grail when it comes to golf gloves. After roughly two months, the Moccasin Icon Glove is still holding its own.
As always, proper storage will increase the life of your glove. I play in a hot and sweaty climate and have gotten used to crumpled-up golf gloves. If you store your glove in a cool, dry space or place it back in its original packaging, it will maintain its shape for longer.
