I say this with absolutely no reservation, knowing full well plenty of you will disagree.
This is the best looking golf shoe of 2025. And it’s from a brand that most of you have probably never heard of.
Meet the Goatlane Contour. This high-end golf shoe has quickly become my favorite looking (and feeling) shoe of the year, thanks in large part to its premium construction and versatile design.
Those of you who know me know my affinity for golf sneakers. I’d much rather rock a New Balance 550 or Jordan 1 than a pair of FootJoy’s or G/FORE’s. The Goatlane Contour falls firmly into the category of golf sneaker, and I’m here for it.
The moment I opened the box, I could smell the leather and glue. It was truly love at first smell (and sight). Because the next thing I noticed was how wearable this silhouette is. It’s easy to rock to the office, the range and of course … to the course.
Something about the tumbled underlays, smooth overlays and the subtle suede hits just speak to me. It’s like every layer and line was designed to appeal to the eye.
In other words, I’m a fan. I’m not going to act like it’ll be a top performer (it’s comfortable enough, and the traction is range-worth but not stellar) but I stand by my bold claim: this is the best looking golf shoe on the market right now.
