Titleist introduces new gt1, gt2 and gt3 hybrids

CARLSBAD, Calif. (Jan. 15, 2025)Titleist unveils the Generational Technology of the new GT drivers and fairways, and introduces the all-new GT1, GT2, and GT3 hybrids. These new models offer fitters and golfers greater control over center of gravity (CG) placement to dial in ball flight and launch conditions.

The New Hybrid Models

The new GT1 is the highest-launching model in the lineup that comes with a lightweight, high-MOI configuration and new forward-aft weight settings. The GT2 hybrids have the highest total MOI across all models, making them an excellent alternative for long irons. The new GT3 model possesses a compact, iron-like profile and offers workability with increased forgiveness.

These all-new hybrids will be available for pre-sale beginning February 4 and will be on shelves in golf shops globally from February 21.

High-MOI Designs

Tom Bennett, Principal Product Manager, Titleist Metalwood R&D, noted that one of the primary focuses when improving the hybrid lineup was stabilizing it. Higher-MOI designs across all models have achieved this. Bennett also explained how golfers could get the best performance out of these models through the fitting process.

New CG Adjustability

The position of an 11-gram flat weight and a 5-gram flat weight controls the CG position in the stock setup for all three models. Further, these models offer six different weight combinations total to facilitate customization.

Refined Shaping

All the three new GT hybrid models feature refined shapes to improve their performance. Bennett also drew attention to the design elements including a flatter leader edge and a smaller footprint that increase playability and improve performance on low-impact strikes.
