Tood Woodbridge once beat Tiger Woods at golf. Well, sort of. Not really

The Howie Games recently featured Australian tennis champion Todd Woodbridge a few months ago and he told a hilarious story about the day he beat Tiger Woods.

How did I miss this one?

Listening to all the great golf podcasts would take up more time than there is in the week, so while trying to get on the front foot with Mark Howard’s latest chat with Cameron Smith I stumbled upon this chat with Todd Woodbridge.

Woodbridge lives next to the fifth hole at uber-exclusive Isleworth Golf & Country Club and he bumped into Woods on the first tee late one afternoon.

Somehow Woodbridge found himself 1-up through five holes and decided it was probably for the best, and for the sake of a future good yarn, that he went home.

Take a listen to the story below, check out the full podcast at The Howie Games, and if you need to see a few of the holes Woodbridge talks about, check out Rick Shiels round at Isleworth with Ryan Ruffels.
