HELLO Golfers, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy exploring the new and exciting innovations brands and manufacturers are producing. It’s incredible to see just how far they can push the boundaries with some of these products, and this month’s review is certainly no different. Our friends at Motocaddy have launched the M7 GPS Remote Buggy, in my opinion, it’s one of the biggest improvements made in the golf technology space.
I want to start with some of the simplicity elements of the design. There are so many user-friendly and easy-to-use functions that make setting the whole buggy up incredibly straightforward.
Getting the buggy out of the box and assembled was one of the easiest unfolding processes I’ve come across. From putting the wheels into the buggy and attaching the sand bucket holder, through to folding it down and getting everything ready to go, the whole user experience is seamless. I had no prior knowledge of how to unfold or set it up, yet it was that easy that I went from unboxing, to having it ready to use and heading towards the first tee, without any fuss.
Now let’s explore the improvement I’m talking about! If you’re like me and want as little interaction with your mobile phone as possible whilst playing, then look no further. This buggy comes with an inbuilt GPS screen that really needs to be seen to be believed. The screen itself is a crystal-clear 3.5” LCD touchscreen. Whilst the screen itself may not be the newest innovation we’ve seen on a golf buggy, what this touchscreen GPS is capable of doing is remarkable. Not only do we have the ability to see the distance to the front, middle and back of the green, but we can also navigate and dynamically drag and drop the pin location. Having that information right in front of you, without needing to reach for your phone, is incredibly convenient. This piece of technology is just brilliant.

As for the buggy’s performance, whilst it took me a little while to wrap my head around the inbuilt GPS screen and everything it could do, it didn’t take long to get a real sense of the elegance and class this buggy brings when walking the fairways.
The buggy’s ability to almost float along the fairway was so smooth and effortless that, at times, I forgot
I was even playing with a buggy. I really enjoy testing buggies through as much different terrain as possible to see how they perform, and the M7 certainly passed the test with flying colours. Whether it was navigating uneven ground, slopes or different surfaces, it remained incredibly stable and easy to manoeuvre, and there’s nothing worse than having your buggy tip over.
Lastly, I want to touch on the buggy’s EASILOCK bag system at the bottom of the buggy. This isn’t a new feature for Motocaddy, but I really feel it’s one of the great features of the overall design. Quite simply, it allows compatible Motocaddy bags to lock directly into the base of the buggy without the need for a lower bag strap. Once the bag is clipped into place, it feels incredibly secure, with virtually no chance of the bag slipping or moving around while out on the course.
Overall, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the Motocaddy M7 GPS Remote Buggy. From the simplicity of the setup to the technology built into the GPS screen and the way it performs across the golf course, it really does feel like a significant step forward. For me, the combination of convenience, technology and performance makes this a buggy that I could happily see becoming a regular part of my golfing life. If you’re looking to take a little more technology, convenience and enjoyment onto the golf course, the M7 is certainly worth a look.
