The 1st Wester Engineering Cup Golf Tournament was held at the Savar Golf Club recently. A total of 388 golfers participated in the event.Lieutenant Colonel Imtiaz emerged champion in the tournament while Mrs Monira Hossain became ladies’ winner. Brigadier General Sobhani became senior winner while Dr MS Kabir emerged as the veteran winner. Osama Mohammad Zahi finished as the junior winner.
Savar Golf Club president and area commander of Savar zone, Major General Mohammad Shahinul Haque witnessed the closing session as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners. Western Engineering Pvt Ltd’s chairman Bashir Ahmed was present as the special guest. Apart from them, Savar Golf Club’s vice presidents and members were present at the event.
