Why your takeaway might be working against you – Weekend Game Plan

April is one of my favourite times of year to be on the course -- I hope you're getting out there.

This week I want to feature two lessons I think could genuinely change how you strike the ball.

The first is with Christina Ricci on the takeaway -- specifically, why leading with your chest instead of your hands creates a more connected, more repeatable swing. It sounds simple but most golfers never think about it this way, and once you see it you can't unsee it.

The second is with Kellie Stenzel on tempo. Not feel-based advice -- an actual ratio that tour players use without thinking about it. If you've ever felt like you're guiding the club rather than swinging it, this is the lesson that explains why.
