Women’s Golf Picked Eighth in Preseason West Coast Conference Poll

SAN BRUNO, Ca. – In the preseason West Coast Conference coach’s poll, the Augusta University women’s golf team was tabbed eighth in the conference. Pepperdine has been picked to win the championship having received seven of eight first place votes. Oregon State received the other first place vote.

This year marks the first year Augusta is competing in the West Coast Conference for golf.

Pepperdine and Oregon State both represented the WCC in the NCAA Division ! National Championship a year ago.

This year’s conference tournament will be held April 25-27 at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield, Ca.

The Jaguars will tee it up for the first time this spring Feb.10-11 at the BGSU Women’s Collegiate in Litchfield, Az.
