With the new model we had to be careful not to drop Luke’s spin too low – explained well by Jeff Cook, Mizuno’s PGA Tour Manager.
The average spin on tour is like 2,600. If a guy hits a fade at 2,500- 2,600, that’s great as long as he never wants to hit a draw. Because that will be down at 2,200-2,300. So you can’t have low spin both ways. But if you play one dimensional, just hitting a fade, you could have that at 2,300-2,400.
