Now let’s get into the biggest movers up the handicap leaderboard during the past two weeks.

Peter Finch
Finch was one of the biggest movers of the period thanks to a strong run of golf at Kiawah Island Resort in his ongoing match series against Sean Walsh.
Back-to-back rounds of 2-under and 3-under at Osprey Point and Cougar Point showcased the consistency that had been missing earlier in the year. After a relatively slow start to 2026, Finch is firmly trending in the right direction and climbed six spots on the leaderboard to a +1.9 handicap.
Danny Elder
Elder nearly matched Finch’s improvement and also jumped six spots in the standings.
The highlight came at Monifieth Golf Links where he made a serious run at breaking 60. While the dream fell just short, an 8-under 60 remains one of the best rounds recorded in the Handicap Tracker this season.
The performance pushed Elder to a +2.5 handicap and further strengthened his position among the top players on the leaderboard.
Golf Slump
Not every climb up the leaderboard comes from a single low round.
Golf Slump continued his steady rise thanks in part to movement around him. While there wasn’t a major scoring breakthrough during this period, several players behind and around him slipped backward, allowing him to gain four positions and reach a +2.0 handicap.
Evan Thompson
Thompson took on one of golf’s toughest challenges by attempting to qualify for the U.S. Open.
Playing at Shingle Creek Golf Club, he posted an even-par round that trimmed his handicap slightly, although it wasn’t enough to advance through qualifying.
Josh Oddy
Playing at his home course, Shanklin & Sandown Golf Club, Oddy fired a 10-under 60.
The result moved Oddy into the top 10 rankings and helped him climb three spots to a +6.3 handicap.
Dan Hendriksen
Hendriksen continued his steady improvement in a pro-versus-pro match against Chris Gill.
At West Cornwall Golf Club, a score of 1-over through nine holes might not immediately stand out, but anyone familiar with the course knows how demanding the challenge can be.
Taco Golf & Luke Toomey
The latest challenge from the New Zealand crew added a twist: lose a hole and chug a beer.
Despite the distractions, both Taco Golf and Luke Toomey managed to keep their games under control, reaching 1-under through nine holes while navigating the added pressure.
Ash Mullin
Mullin quietly produced one of his better rounds of the season at the Madison Invitational.
A tidy 2-under round at Centurion Club highlighted the consistency that has become a trademark of his game. The result earned another reduction to his handicap and moved him up two positions in the standings.
Frankie Borrelli
Fore Play’s “Best Round Ever?” challenge produced a notable result for Borrelli at Sebonack Golf Club.
A 6-over score might not sound remarkable at first glance, but Sebonack’s demanding setup and slope rating make every shot count. The result was strong enough to move Borrelli up one spot and continue his gradual climb up the leaderboard.
Biggest handicap impact (single video)
The biggest handicap cut from a single video belonged to Not A Scratch Golfer after shooting 75 (+4) in Shooting 68 vs. Shooting 75. The round resulted in a 0.6 reduction to his handicap. Josh Oddy followed with a 0.5 reduction after his 10-under 60.
