Creators are playing Open qualifiers, match-play series, stroke-play championships and break-70 challenges every week and the level keeps rising.
So every two weeks, we’re breaking down the YouTube Golf Power Rankings, who’s climbing, who just made a move, and whose handicap is actually trending in the right direction. The data all comes from the Handicap Tracker.
What Is Handicap Tracker?
Handicap Tracker began when its founder, Jamie, was watching one of his favorite YouTube channels, the Fore Bros. After following their journey from beginners to improving golfers, the trio suddenly claimed their handicaps had dropped into the low teens, numbers that didn’t quite match what fans were seeing week after week.
Comment sections filled with debates, so Jamie started tracking the scores shown in their videos and calculating proper handicaps for Dec, Ron and Paddy. A leaderboard website was built to allow others to view the results and that’s where everything changed.
Curiosity about other creators’ handicaps quickly spread. One by one, Grant Horvat, Rick Shiels, Garrett Clark, Peter Finch, the Bryan Bros, even Bryson DeChambeau, were added to the YouTuber Handicap Leaderboard.
That simple idea grew into Handicap Tracker, a full custom-built platform at handicap-tracker.com, now tracking scores from 100+ YouTube golfers, updating handicaps daily from new videos and giving fans a complete history of every player’s rounds.
In just one year, it has grown dramatically, with fans and creators actively engaging with the leaderboard and constantly checking in to see how their favorite golfers stack up against one another.
Luke Kwon
Kwon posted a solo -5 through nine in a 2v2 match against Noah Kahan and continues working back toward last year’s +5.4 peak despite missing the weekend in Open qualifying in New Zealand.
James Robinson
Robinson fired -7 at S&A Golf Club in the UK, jumping into a tie for 11th and pushing himself into Top 10 territory.
George Bryan
Bryan delivered back-to-back -4 performances at Teeth of the Dog across two days in the Bryan Bros vs Good Good Strokeplay Championship.
Chris Kromlidis
Kromlidis shot -3 at Woodlands on the Australian Sandbelt, a strong nine-hole performance that moved him up the leaderboard.
Grant Horvat
Horvat’s latest attempt at his lowest round ever resulted in -3, enough to move his handicap and gain a few spots.
Ryan Ruffels
Ruffels shot -4 through 16 in a 1v1 against Bat, tightening the gap on the Top 3 since joining the leaderboard.
David Gapes
“Gravy” broke 40 through nine with a 2-over round at Ledge Point, marking a measurable step forward.
Kyle Berkshire
Berkshire shot -1 through nine at Arroyo Trabuco against Michael Block.
Sara Winter
Winter carded 6-over at Emirates (Majlis) in the Creator Dubai Desert Classic.
Sam Heung Min
Sam Heung Min won his Last Man Standing match with a -1 through nine performance against fellow NZ creators.
