Philippines’ Yuka Saso has won the US Women’s Open after an epic final day at Olympic Club in San Francisco.
After Lexi Thompson let a five-stroke lead and a shot at her second major slip from her grasp on the back nine, Saso and Japan’s Nasa Hataoka needed three extra holes to decide the winner.
